A new job!

Monday I start my new job as a nurse in a jail!

It has got to be more exciting than writing patient education handouts.

Cops in uniforms. Yummy!

  3. I prefer firefighter/paramedics these days…but anyway…congrats! It will be interesting, and you might even find that you enjoy some of the aspects of patient care again.

  5. I have a friend who has been a nurse in a prison for years. She tells interesting stories, and must like it - she’s still there.

I had to laugh at Hilary saying she preferred firefighters and paramedics… for those who don’t know, my ex-husband was a firefighter and I can’t even look at them any more (except for Denis Leary playing one on Rescue Me) — Hilary’s cutie patootie husband was a police officer and had the police department screw him over, so I can understand her preference for other uniforms! ;)
