Fuck you Tom Cruise, you scientologist bastard!

First Tom Cruise criticizes Brooke Shields for taking antidepressants to combat postpartum depression, and now he is attacking the use of psychiatric medications, and psychiatry itself, because he’s “read the research” and therefore knows more than any other medical professional on the planet.

As an RN, I’ve worked with patients suffering from a wide spectrum of psychological problems, from occasional anxiety and depression, all the way to bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. I doubt if Tom has done this. Yet he feels he’s qualified to tell psych patients, some of whom cannot function in society without their medications, to quit listening to their psychiatrist and to just stop taking their meds.

Fuck you Tom. Why don’t you do some research on your own cult that has killed hundreds of people. Why don’t you open your eyes to the truth about that?

Let me tell you all a little story. A story I like to call…

WHY I HATE SCIENTOLOGY: A KINDA PERSONAL TESTIMONY

I was adopted at birth, and after I turned 18 I spent 15 years searching for my biological relatives.

Finally found them two years ago, but unfortunately my mother had died. She had been a member of the church of scientology (intentionally NOT capitalized) for almost 20 years. She was a “celebrity liason”, which meant that John Travolta, Kirstie Alley, and all of those people likely knew her well.

(The church recruits intellectual people, artists, etc. They treat the celebs very well, but non-famous artists, or artists that join the church full-time and run out of money, are basically treated in the way you would expect a cult member to be treated. Sleep-deprived, cut off from the outside world, etc.)

Why did she die? Because, at the age of 54, she developed stomach cancer. Instead of letting her seek treatment, the church said that this woman, who had given almost 20 years of her life to them, was not “pure” enough, and if she just paid MORE money and took MORE classes, she would be “pure” and the cancer would be gone.

More than a year and $100,000 later (she had already taken over $200,000 worth of classes in the 20 years she was a church member), she still had the cancer. They never let her see a doctor until a few weeks before her death, and then it was just for pain control.

Do I think she’s a fucking moron? (despite her being highly educated and having an insanely high IQ) = hell yes I think she’s a fucking moron.

But she was in the church 24-7, completely brainwashed.

I hold much more resentment towards the celebrities who legitimize scientology. They encourage people to join the church, yet those who join are NOT treated in the same way that the celebs are treated. The church revolves around treating the celebs well, not only for the money, but moreso for the positive press that allows them to recruit the needy and gullible, and take them for every penny.

The list of people whose deaths are suspicious, or were brought about by the church’s refusal to allow them to seek medical care, is long.

The blood of all of those people is on the hands of the celebs who promote scientology.

By the way, my biological mother had given all her inheritance to the church over the years, so she died leaving two sons peniless. One son, who was only 11, was immediately kicked out of the scientology boarding school, and was basically left homeless.

Nice.

  1. I totally agree with you. Have a look here. You’ll learn more than you can digest about these guys. By the way, Greece (where I come from) was one of the few countries that shut them down with a court order. Unfortunatelly, not for long …

I’m adopted too but I never had the urge to search for my biological parents. To be honest, I never thought of it. It’s really interesting to see how differently people react under almost the same circumstances :-)

  2. Tom Cruise gives me the creeps. He’s so fake/plastic/produced it just weirds me out now everytime I see him on TV. He’s turned space cadet just like Michael Jackson and Burt Reynolds. Yikes.

  3. Right on! The world will find out soon enough, and quicker still with representatives like Cruise, that scientology is just another manipulative cult.

  5. Well, Mr. Cruise has done reading on psychiatry. Unfortunately, it is on scientology’s level OT3, which discuss the role psychiatrists had 75 zillion years ago in causing mayhem in some distant portion of the universe. He is a moron, and although Matt Lauer did not kiss his ass as badly as Spielberg, who I have lost all respect for, the media does not address this aspect of his beliefs. I have no problem with him speaking out, as I believe in free speech, but he acts as if he has been reading the New England Journal of Medicine, not some LR Hubbard crap….
